This piece of family heritage was not originally intended for sale. It is a unique private edition made by our ancestors. Donatella Whisky Cask 50 is the name of the exclusive family heirloom from Donatella, one of the oldest and finest single grain whiskies in the world. It was distilled in 1966 in the Highlands on behalf of the Palm family, using their own ingredients, and stored in their own sherry hogshead barrel for 50 years.

A unique and very complex single grain Scotch whisky from the Highlands with a natural colour. It is a strictly limited edition of only 25 bottles. This exquisite drop was bottled at a direct cask strength of 49.5% by volume from a sherry hogshead into typical 0.5-litre Donatella designer bottles.

Of course, this is an exclusive single edition from the first and, so far, only bottling process. Exactly 25 bottles' worth was taken out of the sherry hogshead, while the rest was put back into storage for an indefinite period of time. Non-chill-filtered, aged in a single cask, cask strength, single grain, all combined in one perfect product. This Cask 50 was distilled in the spring of 1966 and bottled more than 50 years later in the summer of 2016.

The taste of this masterpiece is as unique as its name! Intensely fruity and slightly sweet, with a hint of sweet spices and the typical Donatella natural cask aroma. This gently matured Donatella Scotch whisky is powerful, with a dark amber colour, in the glass. Even with its cask strength, this Cask 50 feels very mellow and amazes with its medium-sweet aroma.

Limited to 25 bottles: only 25 bottles were filled. The stock of this exclusive edition is limited accordingly. Each bottle is delivered with a serial number, a signed certificate of authenticity, booklet and an elegant wooden box (black lacquer or precious wood look), and with an individual card of authenticity - VIP Member Card.
